Knitters are equally as important as crocheters! So we put together a knit version of the PERFECT CROCHET HEADBAND PATTERN just for the knitters who follow along on the YHN blog! We think you will love it too.

MATERIALS:

1 skein Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick (or something similar)

9MM Circular Needles

Tapestry Needle

Scissors

PATTERN NOTES:

***As always this pattern is easily adjustable for children to adult sizes. Please note if you want to make the width of the band smaller you will need to maintain an even number of stitches. Make as short or as long as you need!

KNITTING TERMS:

K (knit)

P (purl)

PATTERN:

Cast on 14 (long tail cast on method)

R1 – 2: *K2, P2. Repeat from * across

R3 – 4: *P2, K2. Repeat from * across

R5 – 54: REPEAT ROWS 1 – 4

R55: Bind off.

SEAMING:

This headband is stitched together after you fold the band in half and place a Mobius twist (simply twist one end before seaming) in the work. Once you make the twist, line up the ends and seam the sides together. It’s really that simple!

We would LOVE to see your creations so be sure to tag us on social media @yarnhookneedles and we will give you a shout out! You can also use the community tag #yhnfashion to see other’s work!

For AD-FREE versions of this pattern, you can visit us on Etsy or Ravelry and download a PDF for only $2.99!
