Hello friend!

I have been hard at work designing new pieces which I believe you will enjoy. I was on a kick singing different songs from the classic musical Grease.

After receiving some happy mail from Lion Brand, I was inspired to create this fun piece with one of their new yarns “FEELS LIKE BUTTA”. I fell in love with the texture and light-weight feel of this yarn. The soft factor is through the roof! You might think it is too warm for summer but can assure you it is definitely airy enough for even those sweltering summer days.

In the pattern, I have included both children’s sizes as well as women’s sizes. You will find a video tutorial after the pattern below.

Be sure to click over to Etsy or Ravelry to get the AD-FREE PDF!

Materials:

5MM hook

Feels Like Butta Yarn or Size 4 yarn (4-8 balls depending on size)

Scissors

Tapestry Needle

Gauge: 20 stitches x 16 rows = 4 square inches

Abbreviations:

CH – chain

ST – stitch

HDC – half double crochet

SC – single crochet

DC – double crochet

Pattern Notes:

This is the child version of the Pink Ladies Skirt. The sizes will be in the following order:

(2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16)

You will create the waistband of the skirt first. Then, you will seam the waistband together and begin the skirt section. It is all worked in one piece so you don’t have to worry about attaching pieces together.

Row 3 – (64, 66, 70, 74, 78, 80, 86, 90) you will repeat row 2.

Attach both ends together with a SC all the way across.
