PURCHASE THE AD-FREE PDF FROM RAVELRY OR ETSY AT THE END OF THIS POST!

The texture and detailing on this scarf are so fun! You will love how quickly it works up using the Lion Brand Woolease Thick & Quick.

So perfect for those cooler Spring days, you will love wearing this one or gifting it to a special friend!

MATERIALS:

120 – 150 yards of size (6) Super Bulky Yarn ( I used Lion Brand Woolease Thick & Quick)

8MM Hook

PATTERN NOTES:

This pattern is slightly more advanced but with patience, you can definitely do it! I would even say this pattern is somewhat reversible with both sides giving a unique detail.

THE PATTERN:

CH 92

R1- SC in the 2nd CH from the hook. Continue with SC all the way across. CH 1. Turn.

R2 – (right side) CH 1 counts as SC. SC in each stitch all the way across. CH 1. Turn.

R3 – Repeat row 2. CH 3. Turn.

R4 – (CH 3 counts as DC) DC in the next 2 sts. * Skip the next 2 sts. Triple crochet in the next 2 sts. Working behind the triple crochet you just made, triple crochet into the skipped stitches. Skip the next 2 sts. Triple crochet into the next 2 sts. Working in front of the 2 triple crochet just made, triple crochet into the skipped sts. DC into the next 3 sts. Repeat from * across. CH 3. Turn.

R5 – Repeat row 4. CH 1. Turn.

R6 – 8: Repeat row 2.

Tie off leaving a long tail.

CONNECT THE ENDS:

Make sure there isn’t a twist in your scarf. You will then take your long tie off tail and SC the ends together.

***Be sure to keep your ends even as your stitching so they don’t gather or look “off”.

Weave in your ends and enjoy!
