Don’t you wish you could make all the things with yarn? I mean, there are so many types of yarn available to makers these days and one can almost dream up one of everything to make with yarn. Right?
Today I am sharing with you a fun project I created with the help of all my friends over on Instagram.
Are we friends yet? If not, click here to follow along!
I had threw up some poles in my IG stories asking what type of bags you all would like to see. Much to my surprise there were two styles I got the most amount of votes on:
- A circular cross-body bag ((ahem…coming next week!))
- A rectangular tote bag being a little on the larger side
I set to work on researching yarns which I believed would be great for making handbags. I wanted something which had COLOR and also was affordable and easy for makers around the world to get their hands on!
Now entering, Lion Brand REWIND tape yarn….
Gather your materials to create this handbag:
- 3 skeins of Lion Brand REWIND yarn
- 4.5MM Tunisian Hook (A Set I Use)
- Scissors
- Tapestry Needle
- Handbag Handles
- 1/2 yard of fabric for lining ((optional))
- personalized tag ((optional))
