Are you ready for today’s pattern?

I have always loved and admired the triangle shawls. Having never made one before, I wanted to find a pattern which was easy to personalize but at the same time teach me the structure of these types of shawls.

While browsing YouTube I found a gorgeous shawl with a super easy pattern using the c2c method.

a side note…

I have several design ideas  in mind for making a c2c blanket this spring. I haven’t tried my hand at one of these blankets either but I will say I was itching to get started on one after finishing this shawl.

Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss the free pattern who I release it!

Back to the shawl!

one of things I love most about the size of this’s shawl is the variety of ways it can be worn. My favorite way is wearing it like a triangle scarf.

I also chose to add two colors with this shawl and I debated to add tassels on each of the points but opted not to in the end.

I still think tassels would be adorable and I will likely make another for the fall with the tassles!

WHAT I USED…

– 4 skeins of Red Heart yarn from the LOVE line in the colors arctic and boysenberry

– size I hook

– scissors

– tapestry needle

– steam iron for blocking

In the pattern video you will notice Mikey from the crochet crowd giving a certain number of rows. I wanted my Shawl to be slightly larger than the recommended rows count he gives. So if you want to make your shawl oversized you can do as many rows as I did which was a total of 70.

This pattern is great for “mindless” Crochet. Once you see the first two rows you will have all you need to complete the entire shawl!

Those are the best types of patterns right???

If you do make this shawl I would LOVE to see it! You can share here in the comments, send me a email ( yarnhookneedles@gmail.com ) or you can tag me on Instagram @yarnhookneedles
