If you are looking for a way to add more “handmade” elements to your home, then these Handmade Crochet Kitchen rags will be perfect for you!

Use them in our own kitchen. Gift them to a friend. Mix and match colors to create the perfect palette to suit your decor style and personal tastes!

These would make an excellent wedding shower gift (make 2 each for a set of 10!). Include them in your next house warming basket. Tag me on social media @yarnhookneedles and don’t forget to use the tag #handmadekitchen so I can be sure and share it with our growing community!

How To Have Success With These 3 Crochet Kitchen Rags:

–

  • if you tend to crochet tighter, be sure to go up a hook size. Cotton yarns tend to be stiff so if you don’t want to have hand cramps or experience any sort of struggle while making each rag, definitely go up in your hook size.
  • if your rag seems to not lay like a perfect square, consider blocking it. This will give you a nice, crisp looking square

Pattern Notes:

LEVEL: Beginning – Intermediate

HOOK: 5MM & 5.5MM

YARN: 1 ball Cotton yarn per rag (sugar&cream) CHECK OUT THESE GREAT OPTIONS!

These cloths/dishcloths are very nice, take time to make, and cost money for yarn! They are NOT rags! I have rags made from old clothing or towels that I use for those types of jobs…I do not use my dishcloths as rags! Calling them “rags” totally disrespects the effort put into making them…
