The Crochet Chevron Stitch

Have you ever wondered how to make the chevron crochet stitch?

A few days ago on Facebook, I started a LIVE video where I shared how to create the perfect chevron stitch. I go very slow and teach you how to achieve the perfect chevron with smooth sides and perfect points!

Be sure you are following us on Facebook so you never miss a LIVE video!

Be sure you share this with your maker friends just in case they too are having struggles with this stitch!

Hi Abby, The single crochet chevron stitch is certainly one of those stitches that can easily cause tightening and pulling. If you are not too far into your project, then I would suggest frogging it and restart with a larger hook size. If you would rather not frog, then you should be able to continue as you have been and then wet block it once it’s complete. Also, if you are only a few rows in, sometimes it seems to roll up more than it would once you have several rows done (sometimes the added weight of the additional rows is all you need to flatten out the project).
