Do love making the c2c or corner to corner blankets? I have fallen in love with this method! It is so easy and quick and if you’re using a color changing yarn it works up really fast.

Today’s pattern is short, sweet and to the point! Below the written pattern you will find a video tutorial for learning how to make a c2c blanket for yourself or to give as a gift!

In order to work up a quick blanket without having to worry about changing colors. You will need to work with an ombre or color changing yarn. For this particular blanket, I used a “sweet roll” from premier yarns which I picked up from JoAnn’s. You could easily choose any one of the self-changing yarns are there. Lion brand has the “mandala” cakes right now. There are some fabulous colorways in the Mandala line.

There are also some great ones with the Hobby Lobby house brand, YarnBee. Lion brand has some fabulous options too!

WHAT I USED:

  • 4 sweet roll cakes (this is for a toddler sized blanket)
  • size I hook
  • scissors
  • tapestry needle

Now, if you’re wanting to make a larger blanket, you will simply continue with the increases until you reach your desired width. As soon as it’s wide enough you will begin with the decreases.
