I have been wanting to create a pattern for you all which is quick and easy to work up. Something any level of crocheter could complete in little to no time and you would then be able to enjoy it in your home!
This is a simple crochet cozy bowl. Perfect for small plants or succulents. Change, your hubby’s wallet, jewelry while you wash your hands etc.
This project works up in less than 20 minutes and I can guarantee you will love making a few of these for yourself as well as for a friend!
I purchased this t-shirt yarn from JoAnn’s and from one skein you could easily make a dozen or so bowls. So if you’re needing a quick gift idea this one is for you!
WHAT I USED:
- size N – Hook
- t-shirt yarn
- scissors
Start by making a magic loop and adding 6 SC in the center, SL ST to the first SC to join. CH 2
Rnd 2 – add 2 DC in each ST, SL ST to CH 2
Rnd 3 – *DC in next ST, 2 DC in next ST (repeat from * until the end, SL ST to CH 2), CH 2
Rnd 4 – *DC in next 2 STS, 2 DC in next ST (repeat from * until the end, SL ST to CH 2), CH 2
Rnd 5 – *DC in next 3 STS, 2 DC in next ST (repeat from * until the end, SL ST to CH 2), CH 2
Rnd 6 – one DC in every ST of the loop on the “outside” of the bowl so as to create a lip or rim, SL ST to CH 2, tie off and weave in ends.
I hope you enjoy this simple and cute littleĀ pattern! If you do create a few for yourself I would love to see them!
