Crochet Cable Beanie

If you love cables as much as I do, then you are gonna go crazy over my second cabled beanie design! I shared last week the Owen Beanie. I used a smaller cable stitch for that beanie and I also created a longer brim so you could fold it over like a traditional fisherman’s beanie.

  • J Hook
  • size 6 yarn
  • XL pompom maker
  • scissors
  • tapestry needle

SEWING THE TOP CLOSED

Take you long tail and weave it in and out of the top sts. Pull everything tight and then weave in the rest of the tail.

Attaching the PomPom

At this point, you will add a pompom! Whether you are using a faux fur pompom or a yarn one, you will secure this after you have sewn your beanie closed.

When creating my pompom I used the Clover brand XL for this one. They really make a plain beanie look extra fun because of how big they are!

Once you have added your pom you are ready to wear this beanie yourself or gift it to a friend!
