If you have spent any amount of time browsing Pinterest for home decor, then you have likely encountered Anthropologie.

I LOVE just about everything I see on their site. I’m often there looking for inspiration and I discovered some just in time for Spring!

I love the LionBrand HOMETOWN USA yarn! I also knew I wanted this pillow to be round. With those two things in mind, I created this piece in hopes to capture a very feminine, bohemian vibe. I believe I nailed it! With the color palate I chose, I think you too will be inspired to create one of these beauties for your own home!

BROWSE HERE FOR MORE COLOR OPTIONS IN THE HOMETOWN YARN!

WHAT I USED:

  • 16″ round pillow form (found online or JoAnn/Michael’s)
  • 2 skeins of LB HOMETOWN USE (I used the colors LasVegas Gold, Providence Pink, Norfolk Merlot, Milwaukee Midnight)
  • size 8MM hook
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors

PATTERN NOTES:

Create both round panels. When finishing your panels, leave one of them with an extra long tail. So as to sew each piece together around the pillow form. On the other panel, you will want to go ahead and weave in your ends.

You will notice on the last round the panel will curl up. This is EXACTLY what you want! This round creates a tighter fit to your pillow cover and helps the lacy stitches to lay correctly.

Written in US terms.

PATTERN: (make 2)

Rnd 1 – CH 5 (counts as first DC and CH 2). In the ring (DC, CH 2) 8 times, SL ST into 3rd CH of the round.

ATTACHING THE PANELS:

You will take your panel with the long tail and use your tapestry needle to sew these together around the pillow form. Once you have sewn all the way around, tie off and weave in your ends!
