If you are wanting a pattern to complete this weekend then you will love this super, simple crochet wool cowl. Get your chunky yarn ready and let’s get started!

Want the PDF for your pattern library? Get it HERE on Ravelry….

PATTERN NOTES:

This pattern is so simple and works up really fast. It’s great if you’re looking for something quick to make with chunky wool yarn.

It’s simple enough for a beginner and offers great texture too!

If you can’t manage to get your hands on chunky wool, take your favorite worsted weight yarn (size 4) and string two strands together and it will help to meet the thickness required to make this chunky scarf.

The Perfect Crochet Wool Cowl Pattern

THE PATTERN:

CH 18

R1 – In the 4th CH from the hook place a DC. Continue with DC’s all the way across. CH 2. Turn.

R2 – (ch 2 counts as DC) Place a DC in the back loop of each stitch all the way across. CH 2.  Turn.

R3 – 28: Repeat row 2. Tie off.

 SEAMING TOGETHER:

Take both ends and seam them together making sure NOT to twist the cowl. You can seam with a whip stitch, slip stitch or SC stitch. Tie off and weave in your ends.

***If you want to add a bit more dimension to the cowl, you could add in a twist before seaming it together.
