Hello Maker Friends! Today is Monday which means I get to share another amazing maker with you!
This maker has put together a wonderfully cozy cowl scarf pattern that is perfect for these cooler late Fall days. But first, say “hello” to Emily from Yarn In Bloom…
“My name is Emily, creator of Yarninbloom.com. I’ve been crocheting for about two years and am so thankful for this amazing journey of evolving into a maker. I am a full-time working mom and have found crocheting to be a creative outlet and great stress reliever after a long day at the office. I started with taking Craftsy online classes to learn the basics and have since developed some simple patterns on my own. I started designing amigurumi so I could design various items for my kids. After reading the Yarn Hook Needles feature about blogging, I decided to take the plunge and start a blog where I could post my patterns which can be found at www.yarninbloom.com. I have been doing this since July. I am also on Instagram and am so thankful for the small community of makers I am part of. You can find me at yarn_in_bloom. I also love Pinterest and post my patterns there as well. You can follow me by following Yarn in bloom.”

You may choose to block, I did not block my cowl and the drape is perfect. Lay the item flat, bring both edges together, ensure the edges are even, stitch together the inner aspect of each stitch, going in a zig zag pattern along edges to join. Weave in edges at end and knot off.
