Are you ready for another princess crown? Today I am sharing with you, my crown pattern for the lovely Princess Jasmine!

I’ve been on a Princess crown kick can you tell? I believe a lot of it has to do with the fact these adorable crowns are so quick and easy to make. PLUS, they are so much fun for the girls to put on and jump into the princess play they all love to engage in!

My favorite is when they are so comfortable with the crown on they wear it to dinner!

I wanted this crown to show more simplicity. I always felt like Jasmine’s crown was more low-key than many of the other princess crowns. The added factor of black hair makes this crown absolutely stunning, though!

WHAT I USED:

  • size E hook
  • yellow skein of yarn
  • black skein of yarn
  • scissors
  • tapestry needle

THE PATTERN:

CH 87, SL ST to beginning CH 1 Space

Rnd 1 – SC all the way around; SL ST to top of CH 1 space

Rnd 2 – CH 2, DC all the way around; SL ST to the top of CH 2 space

Rnd 3 – Ch 2, DC in next several STS until you reach the front center of the crown, 2 TRC in next 2 STS, CH 3 in the top of the second TRC (this is the making the front point of the crown), SL ST to the bottom of the CH 3, 2 more TRC in the next 2 STS, continue around with DC; SL ST in the top of the CH 2 space, tie off, weave in ends

THE HAIR:

I wanted this hair to be thick and so instead of using two strands of yarn I put three strands together! I didn’t go as long as the Disney Princess’ hair, but my other daughter was asking for one, and I also am planning to sell these so I will make the hair true to the real Jasmine. I suggest you go ahead and do the same!

Just like in the Anna Crown Pattern, the Elsa Crown Pattern the hair for this one is attached in the same exact way. The only difference is adding a third strand.

I have more Princess crown designs coming and I hope to have something extra special for you on January 1st, 2017!
