I’m bringing you another incredible easy knit-purl combo stitch pattern! I really love how easy this stitch is, but I also appreciate the subtle texture given by the strategically placed purls!
This stitch is really easy to work up and doesn’t require super concentration. You can easily memorize it and enjoy your relaxing knitflix time!
Here are some suggested projects you could create with this stitch…
- Baby Blanket
- Throw Pillow
- Purse/Bag with leather straps
- Large Throw Blanket
I have a friend who recently had a baby and I’m thinking about a baby blanket out of it! I will most certainly share the finished product and have a downloadable pattern ready for you!
WHAT I USED:
- size 13 needles
- Chunky Lion Brand Yarn
Working in Multiples of 4 + 1 (you can add + 2 as an edging st if you so desire)
R1 – Knit
R2 – Purl
R3 – Knit
R4 – K1 (if you have an edge stitch) K1, * P3, K1; rep from * all the way across until the last ST; K1 (if you have an edge stitch)
R5 – Knit
R6 – Purl
R7 – Knit
R8 – K1 (if you have an edge stitch), P1, * P1, K1, P2; rep from * all the way across to the last ST, K1 (if yo have an edge stitch)
Repeat these 8 rows until your project reaches the desired length!
