I found this awesome pattern while browsing through Ravelry and I knew I HAD to try it out! This is such an easy project and it works up so fast. There’s nothing complicated about the pattern or anything.

Some of the differences I made while working the pattern were 3 rows of decrease and then I added a SC finish to the brim. Heather (the pattern designer) gives some suggestions on ways you could finish it off etc. as well as things you can do to give this hat more or less slouch.

I’m glad to add this to my list of hat patterns too!

I am planning to work some craft shows this next year and I think this is a great option for a unisex hat! You could even add a faux fur pompom or regular yarn pompom to the top too! For a kid, this would be adorable!

The yarn I used for this project was the ‘simply soft’ Caron yarn line. They have some of the most luxurious colors and this particular line is my favorite to reach for with hats, dresses and a more dainty project like my dainty infinity scarf I did a few weeks back.

The Caron line also has a ton of colors to choose from. This yarn is perfect for baby blankets too because of how soft it is!

Head on over to Ravelry and add this to your project library! You won’t be disappointed 🙂 Be sure to add Heather from the Pink Milk Blog too as a friend and then check her out on Instagram as well!
