In keeping with this week’s project theme, today I am sharing with you a cute little bag pattern I found!
I wanted something for my girls that I could stuff with all the girly goodies their heart’s desire. When I found this bag I knew it would be perfect!
One thing I love about this pattern is how easy it works up. You are only using less than 2 skeins of chunky yarn! Any project with chunky yarn is a winner in my book!
WHAT I USED:
- N hook
- 1.5 skeins of chunky yarn
- tapestry needle
What I have been doing lately is creating a master binder with patterns I have used, worked and had success with! This isn’t always the case with patterns. I have learned there are some which are extremely frustrating because it is very unclear as to what the pattern writer is saying.
Some of those types of patterns I have had to make adjustments and figure out on my own. There is nothing more discouraging when you’re in the middle of a project and you hit a wall because all of a sudden things don’t make sense!
One of the other aspects of this pattern which I really like is how the backpack strings are a part of the opening and closing of the backpack. I like the idea of this all being a solid piece!
There is also quite a bit of room inside this little bag too!
With some minor adjustments, I could see this bag being great for an adult or even a yarn holder for when you are crocheting or knitting on the go.
It is very sturdy and this lion brand yarn is so soft and luxurious you’ll love making some of these as gifts bags or whatever you’re creative mind could think up to do with it!
