Make This Headwrap in less than an hour!
If you are looking for a simple, easy knit headwrap pattern, then you will love this one I am sharing with you today!
Sometimes knitting can be a bit overwhelming, especially for a beginner. One thing I like to take into consideration when developing knitting patterns is to keep things simple yet give the appearance of something more complex.
Today’s pattern is simply a mixture of purls and knit stitches! This pattern is also a 2-row repeat! No long, arduous stitch pattern memorization needing to happen here.
Materials:
- size 13 needles (9MM)
- WoolandtheGang – Crazy, Sexy Wool
- scissors
- tapestry needle
appr. GAUGE: 8sts x 12rows = 4″ squared
THE PATTERN:
Sized for a tween – adult head (for smaller sizes simply take away as many rows as needed to achieve the proper circumference)
Cast on 12
R1 – *P1, K3;
R2 – *P1, K1, P1, K1;
Rows 3 – 43: repeat rows 1 & 2
Row 44 – Bind off
SEAMING The Headwrap:
Once you are done binding of the piece, you will then take your tapestry needle (or a crochet hook) and whip stitch (or single crochet) the ends together. Be sure the ends stay even!
Tie off and weave in your ends.
You can then wear your headwrap and flip it to whichever design you like!
